Research viable and diverse revenue sources relevant to your state, sector, or organizational environment, as needed

Join with key stakeholders to form a proposal work team. Stakeholders may include members of your workforce, community partners, or other contributors and supporters

Lead, design and manage the proposal project

In collboration with the proposal team and management/leadership, conceptualize the proposed program, service, or initiative

Assume lead authorship; serve as final editor; or both

Maintain regular and routine communication with the proposal work team

Submit a formal weekly one-page project status update to organizational leadership

Submit the proposal 72 business hours ahead of deadline. Deliver an organized, electronic file of the proposal, attachments, budget, and more

Assist with start-up, if needed
